OUR CHAIR

Thanks to the incredible generosity of so many people, we raised the money to buy Rob a running chair and on 10th May 2026, Rob took part in the Leeds Marathon.

Taking part in the Leeds Marathon proved something we felt strongly from the beginning: everyone should have the opportunity to experience the atmosphere, connection and achievement that comes from taking part in a running event.

That’s why we started Give Us A Push.

Give Us A Push is a service providing specialist running chairs to disabled and terminally ill people, helping them take part in running events they otherwise may not be able to enjoy.

Our aim is simple: remove barriers and create opportunities for more people to experience race day, whether that’s a 5K, 10K, half marathon or marathon.

At the moment, we have just one chair to share, but with more support and kind donations we hope to grow so more people can take part in events.
